Unique Polymer Clay Chopsticks by Canadian artist Wanda Shum. Made from lightweight stainless steel with the handles decorated using polymer clay made using the millefiori technique.
The chopsticks are perfectly balanced, hygienic and make great gifts.
Because the chopsticks are individually decorated by hand, every chopstick will look a little different.
Polymer clay is a type of modeling clay similar to PVC which can be hardened in an oven. This allows the artist to form it into a myriad of wonderful shapes and patterns, with bright colours.
Predominant colours: Purple, Mauve, Black and White
Wanda Shum is an artist from British Columbia, Canada. She works in polymer clays using a technique called Millefiori where strips of different shapes and colours of polymer clay are shaped into canes. When the cane is cut it reveals the beautiful colours and patterns. These are then carefully applied and sculpted onto pens, chopsticks and many other items to form one-of-a-kind works of art.
