Ladies Can’t Wait Journal

Celebrate spring’s arrival with the Ladies Can’t Wait Journal, featuring original artwork by Kwakwaka’wakw artist Andy Everson.

The design reflects on the ladybug’s winter hibernation and its eagerness to greet the first warm days of spring, inspired by the artist’s own words:

“The ladybugs are magnificent insects. During winter, they find cozy spots to hibernate and wait for the first warming. By the time spring arrives, the Ladies grow a little impatient and can’t wait to get outside to enjoy the sunshine.”
