Enjoy your morning grapefruit the easy way. This stainless steel grapefruit spoon features precision-serrated edges that glide through membrane and pith, letting you scoop out every last juicy segment without the mess of a regular spoon.
What sets this spoon apart is the artisan detailing: the handle is wrapped in twisted copper and stainless steel wire, finished with a large glass bead for a decorative, one-of-a-kind touch. It’s as much a piece of tabletop art as it is a functional kitchen tool.

I already had one of these grapefruit spoons ( along with some other spoons & utensils purchased a few years ago from a vendor set up at a music festival) and have been trying to find more to use as gifts ever since. But I call it my “potato/kiwi” spoon! This little wonder turned out to be perfect for scooping out the shells when making stuffed potatoes: easy to hold, the best shape for the curve of the shells and little to no chance of piercing through the skin, like a knife does. Ditto for kiwi fruit, for those who prefer scooping out the fruit instead of peeling/ slicing it!
Admittedly though, the original selling point for me was the fact that these utensils are Canadian-made; as much as possible, I look for” Made in Canada” products. In addition to being well- designed and functional, these things are pretty little works of art and therefore, make great gifts. (I recently gifted a set of Sundae Spoons along with some Hagen Daaz ice cream as an anniversary present to friends!)
So glad I discovered Bear Hill Studios products on your site- will likely be purchasing more in the future.
