A message for our AMERICAN customers

We have removed the USA shipping option from our website. 

We are no longer shipping anything to the US.

As a small Canadian company with about a thousand products that come from Canada or are designed in Canada. Some are made in Australia, United Kingdom etc. etc., it is way too difficult and time consuming to calculate the tariffs and find the HTS number for each product. This tariff must be paid before we can ship the product.

In every other country in the world that we ship to, the local postal service collects the duties(if there are any), from the customer before or on delivery.

We would love to serve our US customers, as we did before. Hopefully in the future, things will change.

Shipping within Canada is not affected

  • A choice of shipping options will be available on Checkout after the billing/shipping address is entered.
  • A low Special Rate is offered. From C$5.95 (Read Below),
  • FREE Shipping to Canadian Provinces on orders over C$99. Free shipping is calculated after discounts and before taxes

** Rates are calculated in real-time using the destination, weight and size of the parcel(item/s) to be shipped.

NO SHIPPING TO THE USA DUE TO TARRIFS

  • A low Standard Rate which includes tracking will be offered. From C$12.95 (See Below).
  • FREE Shipping to Continental USA on orders over C$149
  • Free shipping is calculated after discounts and before taxes
  • Allow 4 – 10 business days for delivery, from the date shipped

We take care of the packing and shipping so your gift arrives safely in Canada – no matter where you’re ordering from.

***** If no rate is returned after you fill in the shipping address it means that Canada Post is not shipping to that destination at the moment, due to service disruptions.

Re: Special or Standard Rate Shipping

For all our “Special Rate” Canadian Shipments, we have partnered with a third party shipping company that combines parcels from many eCommerce sites like ours. Due to the larger volume of parcels shipped, they get a volume discount from the shipping companies, which we pass on to our customers.

Things to note:

  • The shipping cost is considerably lower.
  • Parcels are delivered by a Local Courier
  • Other shipping options are also available at checkout.

Our “Standard Rate” USA shipments will be shipped by the United States Postal Service (USPS) or UPS and includes tracking.

International “Standard Rate” parcels will be shipped via NLpost or similar.

All other shipping options offered on checkout are shipped via Canada Post, the above only applies to our “Standard Rate” shipping.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS CAREFULLY
  • A choice of shipping options will be offered on checkout, once a billing/shipping address has been entered. A shipping calculator is also available on the shopping cart page.
  • If shipping to a different address, shipping will be calculated for the shipping address and not the billing address.
  • All Gift Cards will be shipped by Canada Post letter-mail with no tracking, including the free shipping option, unless Expedited, Xpresspost or Priority mail shipping is chosen.
  • Orders shipped by “Small Packet Air/Surface – USA/International” do not include tracking, insurance or time estimates. No refunds or replacement of lost or undelivered parcels.
  • The customer is responsible for any fees, taxes or customs duties charged by any country, state or province.
  • While we try to ship our orders out in a timely manner it is not possible to deliver them on a specific day.
  • The customer will be responsible for the costs incurred by us for an incorrect shipping address. We will only reship a parcel when the additional costs have been paid.
