Re: Special Rate Shipping

For all our “Special Rate” Canadian Shipments, we have partnered with a third party shipping company that combines parcels from many eCommerce sites like ours. Due to the larger volume of parcels shipped, they get a volume discount from the shipping companies, which we pass on to our customers.

Things to note:

  • The shipping cost is considerably lower.
  • Parcel delivery may take a little longer.
  • Parcels are delivered by Canada Post, UPS, Fedex or a Local Courier
  • Other shipping options are also available at checkout.

All our “Special Rate” USA shipments will be shipped by the United States Postal Service (USPS) using First Class or Priority shipping and include tracking.

International “Special Rate” parcels will be shipped via NLpost or similar.

All other shipping options offered on checkout are shipped via Canada Post, the above only applies to our “Special Rate” shipping.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS CAREFULLY
  • A choice of shipping options will be offered on checkout, once a billing/shipping address has been entered. A shipping calculator is also available on the shopping cart page.
  • If shipping to a different address, shipping will be calculated for the shipping address and not the billing address. 
  • All Gift Cards will be shipped by Canada Post letter-mail with no tracking, including the free shipping option, unless Expedited, Xpresspost or Priority mail shipping is chosen.
  • Orders shipped by “Small Packet Air/Surface – USA/International” do not include tracking, insurance or time estimates. No refunds or replacement of lost or undelivered parcels.
  • The customer is responsible for any fees, taxes or customs duties charged by any country, state or province.
  • While we try to ship our orders out in a timely manner it is not possible to deliver them on a specific day.
  • The customer will be responsible for the costs incurred by us for an incorrect shipping address. We will only reship a parcel when the additional costs have been paid.
