I only buy gifts for my grandchildren for Christmas and will likely spend the same amount as last year on them. Because we live in a different province from them, we usually buy online and have the gifts shipped directly to them and their parents do the wrapping!

  2. Linda Bragg says:

I only have two ppl to buy for so I shop early around Oct. month. I buy gift cards, lotto tickets, personal items, food n snacks, plus more. I use gift wrap and also bags depending on the gift. I always buy a special personal card for each person.

Are you going to spend more or less on gifts this Holiday Season?

Do you take the easy route and buy gift cards for everyone or do you buy a unique gift for each person?
It depends on the person. Kids I will usually buy unique toys they have been wanting. For older cousins and family members, I usually do gift cards so they can pick what they want.

Do you use gift wrap or gift bags? Bows or ribbon? Cards or tags?
Usually gift bags except at Christmas I will do wrapping and bows and tags.

I’m going to be spending more on gifts this year because I’m a new auntie. My niece was born in July so I’ll be spoiling her this holiday season. I buy everyone unique gifts. I wrap gifts for my brother and sister-in-law, parents, and secret santa. For my grandmother and niece I’ll probably just use bags and tissue paper.a

  11. Rebeka Deleon says:

I am going to spend as much as I am able to and I usually buy unique gifts for people. It is more thoughtful than a gift card but I do buy gift cards when it is for games for my kids. I wrap them all myself.

I spend the same amount every year on my family and friends. I usually give cash or Visa gift cards so people can purchase what they want. I also build a stocking with gift cards and other goodies. I don’t wrap anything. I present it in an envelope.
